My daughter Heather was like a beautiful shining star! Her smile would light up a room and her laugh
was like music to my ears. She had the most beautiful blue eyes it was like seeing the ocean
everyday.. I miss those things! I miss Heather so much with every breathe I take. I know I'll see
her again one day in heaven.
This is a poem I read for my daughter's funeral!
To Heather
I never got to say goodbye.
Your shirt still hang's on the door, your clothes are on the floor. Your pictures still sit in their
frames, your fingerprints remain.
But in a instance, life is not the same, your smile and voice I can never reclaim. So unfair, so
much life to live,so hard to hold on, much less forgive.
I never got to say goodbye, despite these tears I cry, all i want to know is why?
So I ask God in Heaven, please let my Heather know, that I miss her and I love her so...
